To help support the glued paper clip on the pen housing, the second paper clip (straight) should lie across the 90-degree bend behind the pen housing. Secure the straight paper clip onto the pen housing using two pieces of tape (1).

Add one 2-inch piece of tape around the protruding paper clip you glued on in step 2 (2). Next, rest the pen clip detail on top of the protruding paper clip, and then tape only the clip into place (3). This completes the arrow guide (4).

Step 4

Slide the pen assembly onto both lower hanger bars cut in step 1. Then, on opposite ends, slide two pen-tip caps onto the bars. Snap them into the pen housing frame, as shown on the right.

Center the pen assembly onto the lower bar and tape it into place by adding tape around the ends of the pen housing. Then add more tape ¼ inch from the end of the bars.
